My name is Nitya Anand and I started this blog in 2020. The sole purpose of writing this blog is to spread the awareness about meditation and its amazing benefits.
I have been meditating for the past 6-7 years and have witnessed positive results. I was introduced to meditation in my mid 20s by one of my friends. After the first meditation session I fell in love with the feelings of peacefulness, calmness, centeredness, and positivity. Since then I continued to practice meditation regularly.

Here are the answers to the most common questions about meditation:-
How to begin meditation?
You can begin with simple techniques such as focusing on objects like breathe, candle flame, image of a diety or guru, or by chanting mantras like “aum” etc.
Why does your mind need an object to focus on?
Your mind has this habit of always being lost in thoughts (either in past memories or imaginations of future).
For how many hours a day do you really think you are completely in present moment?
Meditation helps you to stay in the present moment which is the only reality.
Simply, ‘observe’ your breath wherever you are, because your breathing process is easily accessible ‘object to focus on’.
You can do it anytime & anywhere.
No excuses needed for the best place or best time to practice this.
To make this process more effective, breathing exercises (praanayaam) is highly recommend because it calms the mind instantly.
